Home of the Month

Home of the Month for October is the home of Bogey and Kristy Ramirez -- a two-story traditional built in 1937. The Ramirez family has totally renovated the home—while leaving its original layout intact both inside and out after purchasing it from the estate of its original owner—prominent OKC jazz musician Bonnie Spencer—in late 2005. Thank you Bogey and Kristy for your amazing home! See More»

Home Tour 2011 Summary

A big thank you goes to all of the great volunteers and homeowners who helped make this years tour possible. It was a perfect day and a lot of fun. We sold 314 tickets, which is a few more than last year. There were 62 Linwood home hosts serving at the homes and attending the volunteer after party at the Hospitality house. The tour earned just a little over $4000 for LPNA!! See More»

The Trees of Linwood

Part 1-- Sycamores. Sycamores occur from southern sections of New England south to just north of Florida. They range westward as far as the Great Lakes states and into eastern Texas. In Oklahoma one of the best collections of this stately tree can be found in the Linwood Place neighborhood.
